when you...

mix a little of this:

(ice cream sundae glasses were found at my Grandma's garage sale over the weekend - first time I had ever seen them, but they are the perfect size for the boys!)

and my camera left in Austin's reach...and this is what you get:

(Can't wait to say good-bye to those Huggies - sooner than later, I hope!)

couple of things...

Yesterday at Austin's soccer game, something clicked. He got it - run after the ball hard and kick it. Don't dance and prance around silly! My sister came to the game with her wonderful camera and got this action shot!

Good game, Austin! Three goals is quite impressive for one game!

And...

Happy 2 months old to Mr. Hudson! Time is flying! Here's a picture of me with him sleeping a couple of weeks ago!

I finally have a tiara!!

Lisa gave this to me last week on her blog...so I thought I would showcase it proudly! She gave it to me saying, "she has been known to like shiny things". Yes, I do...it's lovely! Thanks...

April 22nd already? I was at the store today when the lady asked me what the date was...and I think the only reason that neither of us could remember was the weather. Is it supposed to be raining this hard this late in the spring...everyday?? I still wore capris and flip flops.

Another great workout at the gym today! It wasn't too bad, and Dana and I worked hard on her favorite machine (not sure what it was, but it was hard in a good way!). Looking forward to our aerobics class again on Friday.

Nothing much more to report - hope you're staying dry and happy!

and a half...

Austin asks almost every day if he is five and a half yet...and every time I tell him he will be in June...June 13th to be exact. We're getting closer, buddy, you are almost there. He is great on keeping up on every one's age - knows that Caden is two and a half...Dave just turned thirty eight this last week and that I was ...until today. So I thought he would be excited to hear that I was thirty three and a half today, but as Dave said, "Austin, do you care?"...he answered "no". Hmm...not what I was expecting!

Austin is playing at his cousin's house this afternoon (mostly with his best cousin, Zack) and I asked him to tell Aunt Sissy what was important about today. He came out of playing video games with Zack and said, "I got to come over"...no..."you're leaving (with a smile on his face)"...no..."oh, you are thirty three and a half today...bye Mom". Love that little boy!

I did it...I did it!

For all you "workout queen/kings" out there, this might not be too exciting...but for me, it is! I was encouraged by my friend Dana to attend the Aerobic 101 class this morning at the gym, so I did, as she promised I would be okay and not die. And guess what? I didn't die! I actually enjoyed the whole hour!! The boys did great again (a little wilder this time) at the Kid's Club and we left there all feeling happy. I could get used to this!

TGIF...have a great weekend!

game!

Erika tagged me to play this little game...looks like fun! Here's the rules:

Post these rules @ the beginning of your blog. Answer the questions about yourself. At the end of the post, tag up to 5 people and post their name, then go to their blog and leave them a comment, letting them know they've been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

What was I doing 10 years ago:
Wow - that's a loaded question! Well, ten years ago I was just splitting up with my then husband (I can hear the gasps now!!...Austin & Caden don't know this about their mommy yet...)...anyhow, I was living in an apartment in Beaverton, OR, working for Renaissance Bankcard Services. My career in HR was taking off and I made wonderful friends working there that I am still super close to today! I shopped too much...was racking up debt...and living the best I could as a 23 year old! What can I say - you learn from your mistakes and all things happen for a reason...and from working at Renaissance, I was introduced to Dave in a blind date in September 1999...and the rest is history (we even paid off that debt of mine!)! :)

Five Snacks I enjoy (not that they are good for me...but I enjoy!):
Chocolate - any kind will do!
Maui Onion potato chips
Latte - I think this is a snack too!
Wheat Thins!
Hard candy

Things I would do if I were a billionaire:
Payoff our home, as well as anyone in our family
Buy vacation homes for us in several states - CA, TX, HI, VA
Buy a home in WA for my parents and Grandma
Buy a new fancy car - heck, why not? If I were a billionaire!
Save for the future - for Dave and I, and the boys
SHOP...no limits...I can't even imagine!!!

Five jobs that I have had:
Babysitter throughout high school for various families
CS Associate at Fred Meyers - in Children/Women Apparel
Receptionist at Wave Works Hair Salon
Human Resources Generalist - Renaissance/Household/adidas
Stay at home Mom of 2 years - busiest and best job ever!

Three of my habits:
Shopping...for the best bargains I can find - love it!
Constantly cleaning
Internet Surfing

Five place I have lived:
Sandy, Oregon
Phoenix, Arizona
Beaverton, Oregon
Tigard, Oregon
Vancouver, Washington

What are your FAVORITE Jammies?
Depends on the season - in the fall and winter, I love flannel pajamas (oh, how sexy!), and in the spring and summer, it's usually drawstring pants/shorts with long or short sleeved t-shirts - nothing fancy, but comfy!

Who Am I Tagging? I know it's not too many...but if you want to do it too, go for i t! Irene is one of those great friends that I met at Renaissance...and Tara is a friend that I met through my sister - who recommended me to Treehouse (thank you!) and is my leader through Sensaria (and who we see at the soccer field on Saturdays this spring!). Have fun!
