First movie from camera...
Recorded sideways again even on the new camera...but it has sound to it now!! :)
I'll get it right next time...
100 posts...and a new camera!
Looks like this is the 100th post in about a year! Not too bad for me, as I just do it for fun and to share pictures, stories about the boys.
So, I am really excited that I got a new digital camera from Dave for Christmas! He surprised me good! The other camera is still in great shape, but outdated as it was bought while I was pregnant with Austin, over 5 years ago.
Here's a couple shots with my new camera, as I was playing around with it (and the boys (big & small) playing with the Wii...yes, Santa brought one of those too!). :)

Christmas 2007...
Christmas was wonderful yesterday...lucky enough to get quite a bit of snow at my parent's house in the afternoon. The boys had a great time, as expected! Dave and I opened up most of the gifts last night so everything is ready to play with and go today...and the boys are having a great time! Hoping to go to Target this afternoon to check out the holiday sales...but hopefully not a repeat of last year! :) Dave went to Freddies early this morning on the way to work (boo hoo!) and got big red and green outdoor lights for next year. Yeah!
Hope everyone had a great holiday too! I am feeling relaxed and not too overwhelmed today too, which is great!!

Happy Birthday, Mom!

Today is my Mom's birthday...what a day for a birthday, huh...on Christmas Eve. Well, we've never known it any other way, so it's the way that I know that Christmas is really here! Over the years she has been an acrobat of flexibility to celebrate her birthday on a different day, usually on the 23rd. However, this year Austin still had a fever yesterday, so we'll celebrate next Sunday on the 30th. We try to make it special for her, as she is such a special part of our family! We love you Mom/Ammy!!

Niece & Nephew...
Before Austin and Caden, my favorite kiddos were Lexi and Zack...Lisa's kids. The other night I had the honor to go to Lexi's choir performance. It was very sweet! Here's a couple of pictures of me with her, as well as me with both of them. I don't think I've had a picture with them and without my boys in there in a long time!
Love you Lulu & Z!! :)

I mentioned to Austin yesterday that we should go to the shoe store soon. On the way to school, we went by the community center to sign up for swimming lessons and the bank. He asked at 12:25 if we were on our way to the shoe store. Since school started at 12:30, I explained to him that we didn't have time before school. He asked if he could go later...so I agreed and said we could go in the evening. One of the first questions he asked after being picked up was when we could go to the shoe store...again. So, last night Austin and I went and he picked out the awesome Spider-Man 3 shoes shown above. The coolest part about this story is that he bought them with birthday money and was so proud of himself. He was thrilled that he gave one $20 bill, and received back more money (a couple dollars...but more than one bill!!). I offered to buy him another pair of Lightening McQueen shoes that were super cheap, but he politely said "no thank you", he was just interested in the cool Spider-Man shoes. Not greedy at all...and very polite in his manners and behavior. Being 5 years old is very cool - to both of us.

Skating...
Here's a video of the boys "skating" on the hard floor this morning in their slippers...always finding a new indoor sport. Luckily, no injuries...yet!
Oh...this was my first time putting on a movie...sorry that it is sideways! Can't figure out how to change it now. It's only 19 seconds, so you won't get a neckache! :)

Visions of sugarplums danced in their heads...
After a long day of fun, and presents (check it out...and there were plenty more last weekend, and earlier yesterday!), the boys were fast asleep.
Thought it was odd how Caden's arm was out of the crib, and back around under his head!

Holding up a FIVE!!
Austin and Caden...
Caden, Mommy & Austin - at coffee!
Our big five year old!
Aunt Sissy, celebrating her birthday too!
Hello there...today has been a busy day with all the festivities! With Austin and Lisa having their birthdays today, there was lots of presents, laughter and fun! Hope that you both had a great day...you deserve it.
As for the five year old boy, he has had a great day, with Spider-Man cupcakes at school, and now off to swimming lessons and a dinner out to his choice restaurant. He would like to sit INSIDE at McDonald's...so that's where we'll be going. Very simple. More presents to open too, so it should be a late night. No school tomorrow, so that's nice.
Happy Birthday Austin and Lisa! :)

Five years ago tonight we were all (when I say all, I mean my Mom, Sister, Dave and I) checked into Good Sam Hospital, ready to have our first baby boy! Where has the time gone? I was just looking through old photos and thought I would share a couple from the first couple months of his life. I'll post more tomorrow on his birthday...as he is such a big boy now!

Holiday Happenings!
Two silly boys, after getting their hair cut!
Austin and his gingerbread house that he made at school! :)It's been awhile since I've posted, as I thought I would put a couple of pictures of the boys up! They are having fun doing holiday stuff, and enjoying a few snow flakes over the last couple of weeks (although it hasn't been sticking!). Austin turns 5 this Thursday, the 13th and we are all very excited about the big day. He had his boy superhero birthday party over the weekend and it was a hit for all 12 boys! Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season too!
