Mother's Day, 2007

Mother's Day, 2007, originally uploaded by mama.milton.

Here's a nice picture of me, my sister (Lisa), my Grandma and my Mom on Mother's Day! Since then, I've had my hair colored...thank goodness...as my roots look awful in this picture!! :)

Hope all the mommys out there had a great day too - you deserved it!

We're off to visit Grandparents and Mickey Mouse in a few days - fun pictures to come in about a week! Take care...

This week in pics

Since the weather has been so nice this week, I haven't posted anything or even read much on the Internet either. Thought I would share some fun pictures from this week.

First, here's Dave and Austin making Chocolate Chip Cookies...yummy! Austin is a little "mini-me" of Dave, for sure!

Then, this Tuesday was Teacher Appreciate Day, so I attempted and made my first cookie bouquets for Austin's teachers. They turned out pretty cute!

Lastly, this morning was the Mother's Day Celebration at Austin's school. So much fun! Here's a picture of us together, one of him in circle time and one with his (girl)friend, Jenna. She insisted in holding his hand. Too funny. She really likes Austin!! :)

Notice that Austin's hair is very short. The guard came off the clippers last night while I was cutting his hair. It took a big chunk out the back, but luckily Shelly (our neighbor friend) fixed it. As she is a hair stylist professionally. I am not. I was just trying to save $10. Oh well.

Favorite pics from the week...

Caden's first time falling asleep in the toyroom on a bean bag:

Privacy is good

We've lived in this house for 2 1/2 years now and we are finally settled in and enjoying our neighborhood. However, the window to the side of the front door has started to annoy me. From dirty fingers and mugs being pressed against it morning, noon and night from our boys and the rest of the neighborhood, I had to do something. So for $6.99 I was able to get these pressure mounted rods and make curtains with left over material. Yes, at least I can't see the smudges and little mugs directly. What a difference it is to know that I can't be stared down from some stranger out there too, when I am most likely still in my robe.

Yes, privacy is good.

What's in my purse?

Thanks for tagging me, Lisa (aka, Mama Milton and my sissy). Here's my purse the other day. It was fairly clean, but that's how I like it.

A couple different pens, keys, wallet, Caden's Chicken Little cell phone, scrap of material that I have pillows made out of, picture album of the boys, my coupon organizer and make-up bag. My cell phone must have been charging.

That's it...nothing too exciting.

I am not a true "blogger", so I don't have too many people to tag. One of my sister-in-laws has a blog, so Stephanie, you've been tagged! Spill your purse in Virginia!
