Big Day!

Today was a big day, as it was Spiderman's...I mean Austin's first day of Pre-K at school! He was so excited to go, but we had to wait until 12:30, as he goes in the afternoon now. He didn't miss a beat and off playing and hardly said goodbye to me...that's okay...better than not wanting to go!

It was a big day for Caden too, as we found the last three binkies around the house and he proudly threw them all in the trash! He hadn't had one in a long time, but they are gone now. Yeah...he is a big boy now...well, just have to do the potty training someday!

Boys x 4 - part 2

It's been a busy summer, although we haven't been outside as much as we had planned to since the weather has been not too desirable many days. However, the boys (Austin, Caden and our neighbor friends, Simon and Issac) have had a great time playing together about three times a week while I've been watching them. They are all so sweet and really well behaved most the time...thank goodness. Only 16 days until Austin goes back to school in Pre-K...we both can't wait for that either.

Sunriver = Fun!

Just got back on Thursday from our annual Sunriver vacation. We stayed in the same home we did last year, and enjoyed the upgrades that had done to their home (new furniture, carpet, etc.). The boys had a great time being adventurous and getting really extremely dirty! We all caught a cold from Austin while there, but that's to be expected from time to time, I guess. We are already pencilling in our reservations for 2008 - can't wait!

Yeah for Dave!

I was going through the mail last night, when I ran across something official looking. Dave was on the phone, so I waited until he got off to tell him that his diploma from Clark College had arrived. Most of you know that Dave went back to school last fall in pursuit of completing his degree. In one short long year, he has his Associates Degree and is attending his orientation at PSU today for the upcoming year to start on his Bachelors. We are all very proud of you, honey!

This picture was taken on July 10th at my Dad's birthday party. I love this picture! So funny that he looks so serious and believable that he is reading (since he is turning 2 tomorrow, I don't think that is possible). He might just be a big Kelly Clarkson fan, like his brother.

I love July!

July is such a fun month, starting off with a hot, fun 4th! We had a great time out in Sandy for most of the day, eating, playing in the pool and enjoying the family. We were home around 7pm, to enjoy our neighbor's crazy and big display of fireworks. Next year is supposed to be even better - can't imagine!
